Thanks for the report Jason! Awesome day. I'm sorry to hear about your mother's health...I'm sure this is the best way you could spend the day in the circumstances.

Thanks Patrick. I'm sure things will turn out fine and like you said I have to keep preoccupied since there isn't much i can do on my side.

However, back to the race. Totally wicked. Not as sore as I thought I'd be this morning but a good salt bath helped. Definatley one of the toughest trail runs I've done physically due to the gain but I always have that mental strength to push me through till the end. For a small race and at 40 bucks, good swag, food, organization and killer door prizes (and a lot) if you were lucky (ask Mark, definitely gender swayed;) Good times.

Succeed. Will it really allow me to do that;) I'll have to look into those.

Maybe its just a physical thing for me, but no matter how much I hydrate and eat which, i did throughout the race, I stll had some slight hammy cramping just above the knee in the back. Maybe I'll try some weights this winter to strengthen.

Thanks 'Bent. Something like that has to be shared. Too fun not too.
