Wow, your log over the last eight weeks is a tribute to the effectiveness of training, for young and old alike.
So far the main thing has been not getting hurt (either from trauma or overuse). I'd give credit for that to two things -- staying out of the woods, and wearing shoes with appropriate cushioning (and leaving the lightweight ones in the closet).
But it's all day by day, could all grind to a halt at any time.
So far, so good. It would be nice if it inspired some of the younger orienteers who read your log to get off their butts.
I'm trying to decide whether I count as young or not :)
In that case it's about time for me to go running!
I did! I'm back in the lab now though so I'm not sure it counts.
The point was - "get off their butts." !!! So good on ya'. Count that as Day 1.
I've been 'off my butt' for 26 of the last 27 days now... hopefully counts for something....
Even Phil counts as one the younger orienteers...
