Congrats for setting two seasonal PRs in one rowing session. Was the pace for the 100m really 1:30? That's super-fast!

And from my recollection, the 1:42.9 for 500m isn't too far from your all-time PR for the distance...something around 1:40?

And a final congrats for apparently backing away from that critical G=165 point. During the winter, that is sometimes the most difficult number to manage of them all!

Thanks, Clark. Of course it is not too challenging to set a PR when it is the first time you try a particular distance. I think I may have gotten under 1:40 for 500 two years ago, but I'll check. That looks pretty difficult from here. For the 100 I was at or under 130 for most of it, but it is hard to get up to speed and a lot gets left behind in the first few strokes. As for the g, it is a constant struggle, and vigilance is required. I have not quite rebounded from the gustatory experience in Sicily of a few months back.

Here's an update. Turns out my sub 1:40 500 time was during the 2012 season when I got 1:39.6. No ranked times for 2013 or 2014. Best time last year (and maybe the only one) was 1:44.1, so I'm a bit ahead of that. Time flies.
