How would going to the bouldering competition have been against common sense?
You would have to ask my cat, he is not much of a talker, but after few drinks...
If that cat could talk he'd be in the witness protection program.
I feel like a cat would consider anything except for eating, mousing, sleeping in sunny spots, and licking oneself clean against common sense...
.. and except about 4000 other things +/-. Cats are pretty curious. Mine are pretty fascinated right now about presents intended for grandchildren, temptingly arrayed under the tree, a thing which is fascinating in and of itself.
It is well knows that cats talk, the question is do we understand them? I think, I do, at least a little bit.
My cat likes to take part in the conversation, when I have friends over. Mostly quiet, definitely smarter than me.
J-man - my cat is somewhat under the witness protection program, more like a house arrest. He is only allowed 15 min. a day outside apartment, never intended to leave the building, I tried. He lived in two different houses before, among his friends were a German Sheppard and a Golden Retriever. I was told, they had mutual respect for each other. And, those are smart dogs.
