Hi Shep, that turd (or preferably a real one) should be awarded to the NSW government. Please tell me that all the NIN 3 Days maps are inside the ACT boundary, because I've vowed never to visit NSW again if their stupid cyclist registration law goes through.

Haha unfortunately 2 of the 3 days are in Australia's 4th most bogan state ;)

To be honest I'd be happy to be registered if it meant I got a the same respect from motorists as I do when I'm in a car, but I don't think I would...

I'd be okay with it if I got a huge discount on my car rego but I don't see that happening either.

Actually no I wouldn't. Do pedestrians have to be registered? They can be as complete tools as the rest of the population.

Yep...

I get the feeling (after speaking to many cyclist haters) that they think making cyclist register would stop many people from being cyclists and keep them being law abiding, courteous motorists...

The only article I could find doesn't say they're making cyclists become registered (yet), just have to carry ID. May as well all just get barcodes tattooed onto them to make it easier and make them wear vertically striped jerseys to stand out as cyclists.

Here's a good one! (The looking a bit weird part is for tRicky :)

This one's more serious.

Could have made it much easier for cyclists just by omitting one word:

All road users need to exercise ... when using the road

Haha that sounds a bit over the top
