An admirable goal, and one I would like to pursue with you, but unless I can strengthen my Achilles, irt won't happen, or I'll really screw them up........

sprints are done for the year, looks like I have conflicts for the regional a-meets this fall - not sure what to set for a goal for myself. I haven't been doing much training of late (though I don't tend to run as much in summer anyhow), but fall is my favorite time of year to run - but lacking definite goals, I'm worried I won't get out the door as much as I should either. and trying to run a fast mile on the track a few weeks ago wasn't much fun, so working on the 6 minute mile doesn't sound all that appealing to me :-)

Looking at your track work of 400s in 88 and 800s in 3:02, I would expect you to have little trouble with 6 minute mile if a suitable race were found. Do you plan to go to a track meet or just have a time trial at some future workout?
