Discussion: and no real wind today

can't believe no one else was out paddling you!

The wind came up just as we were finishing - enough that we might not have gone out, given how cold the water was. But it was nothing compared to yesterday! All the motorboats were shrinkwrapped and off the water, and I guess most people were opening gifts or eating breakfast this morning. We did hear about someone who went out fishing later.

I see that Jack Van Dorp and some other Bruce Peninsula friends went kayaking today. The year Jack and I were preparing to race in New Zealand in February, we crossed some shore ice to get onto Georgian Bay for a kayak paddle on Dec. 27. That was chillier!
