Love it! I too used to walk all over San Francisco, back in the 1940's when we lived on the back side of Nob Hill. And later I was usually whistling
this song as I walked.
What neighborhoods did you walk through?
From Mission/Castro area, walked south and then west to twin peaks, then east back home.
Well just about any place you walk in SF you enjoy spectacular views, interesting architecture, and funky neighborhoods with some interesting people. Most of my favorite walks were in the Russian Hill, North Beach and Marina neighborhoods through which the #30-Stockton bus runs. I also enjoy walking in Golden Gate Park and visiting the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory and perhaps renting a rowboat for an hour on the oars at Stow Lake.
