Sitting in office iced in...on whim pulled up Runners World and sat obits for runners 2015. I was shocked that Ron Clarke died...78. He did not look like I would have thought when saw old age picture of him...

I had not thought about Miki Gorman in years but recognized the name immediately. Little tiny oriental lady...she was born in China...she was 80.
There was an article about a guy that ran 100 mile on track 7:01...that is so depressing to think of. Ironically she ran several INDOORS! 100m races!!!!!

I knew about Clarke (sad) and the 100 mile guy, but not Miki Gorman. Wow... did she die of cancer?

I think so. What was weird was it was on a about the 100 mile insane dude...I have always been jealous of people crazier than me and that is absolutely crazy...then on top of it he was sure he ran a mile extra due to passing probably helped him to be would go insane for sure if you ran in the same lane and all you did was run...anyway she ran 100 race INDOORS...first time she tried it she made 'only' 86...I don't remember all the details.

It's hard to believe these guys are that old and in a blink of the eye we'll be there and ironically 2 super fit people really did not live extra long...78 and 80...she might have lived to 100 if not for weird thing was she started to run to GAIN weight...ha...I'm proving it can be done.

She was so tiny!
