Unlikely, since the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens opening hours coincide with when I'm at work. But the friend who came for dinner tonight showed us the photos she took after queuing for an hour!

There will be a lot of disappointed people today with the botanic gardens being closed for a total fire ban - and the flower will be defunct by this afternoon anyway.

Coincidentally today on Gardening Australia they showed the one that flowered in Melbourne earlier this year.
