Failed to mention:

November: DNF in head to head v Andy
(albeit you were crippled by an injury acquired in a heroic manner).

Have a better start to 2016

He should rest up now, bring out the cotton wool for the next 11 months.

I've avoided him at fell races since I beat him at one (I can't believe I just typed that, but my distant memory says its true - Shap or Trunce or something else shortish ?)...

Funnily enough Nov Classic, whilst a social highlight, wasn't a sporting notable for me last year. Happy new year, Undy!!!! I think you & Will Robbins had me in a 50 minute race over the Manchester-ish side of the pennines once.... 1987? ;)

Resting up now for sure. OUCH.

Whilst I'm pleased with my Malham fell race, both Tim & Charlie have gone *much* faster than me on that course in the past; Tim's been injured and done no real training, & Chas was only taking it as a good long run, by the looks of things. The main memory is watching 19 year old Mike A. running away from me with effortless ease; I'd been expecting it, but to see it 1st hand was .... decisive.

Catching & dropping Neil Northrop near the end was a buzz, and not one I could have anticipated. Sorry Neil if you're reading this! ..... I was also hammered by young Pedley; Mike was telling me to catch him! Couldn't!

Bring on the O. Or maybe not.....
