Discussion: Poor Koski is turning into me

Except for the long incoherent blabbing the training part is looking too much like me...constant aches new and newer and return of old stuff...forgetting to stop start watch...crappy weather, footing, etc.

My left hip has a weird catch in it right now when I bend a certain way...I know I know don't bend THAT way except it is impossible not to bend over for various reasons (DONT EVEN...) and it only pulls occasionally.

Tonight my right outer thigh/ham had about 3 little electrical like burst but I ignored them like old days...well I did hold back as I sped up (just did not put the throttle down)...and it went away...

Sorry about your hip. Chrissy had it pretty bad for a few years and chiropractor seemed to make it go away but then she got gout in one of her toes so maybe it acts as alternative pain distraction???

Sometimes have a new pain and it makes my old one 'go away' and then when the new one clears up my old pain is waiting there like a dillweed maggot to haunt me again.

Conway and I have a running joke about that. He'd say "my foot feels great today!" and I'd know right away that something else hurt worse.

'Running joke'...I think you made a funny accidentally or maybe you meant to say it that way.

I started noticing that alternate pain 'therapy' 2 or 3 years's as if the mind or body gets bored and says I'm sick of listening to you whine about your left foot or ham...and something in the right leg will tingle or feel out of sorts...

I guess if one leg really hurts you could always stab the other leg. I wonder if acupuncture works that way...

You could try drinking pure lemon juice twice a day. I use it in tea and smoothies. I buy a quart of 100% organic lemon juice at the Whole Foods Coop. It really helps balance the Ph and dissolves all that stuff in you....

As you will see by my comments the lemon juice is turning me sour.

Thanks for the advice I need all the help I can get...

Some days...more and more actually, I don't mind shuffling along at these slow paces but days like today I just want to scream that my legs won't go....come on ten minute pace is doable...actually my problem is the first mile and half is so slow I can't make it up the 2nd half of my run when I am usually under ten and even close to 9 min pace...but today no pickup...I might have hit a ten min mile at best at the end.
