It seems a short while since i was an M35 running the same course as you on M20. Where did those 15 years go???
Mind you M35 is not old these days: ref TGIF...

Here's where I think my 14 years as an M21 went:
- 3 years struggling down the field (using the excuse that it was ok because I was only a young M21)
- 6 years doing ok in middle distances but getting trounced by older M21s/M35s in classics (using the excuse that I didn't have their miles in my legs)
- 5 years doing a bit better in classics, but not as good in middles and sprints (probably because training motivation switched from the satisfaction of completing a hard intervals session to a fondness for more sedentary lopes in the hills).
