Success indeed! I found gym going really helps with overall fitness... I was for sure faster after I started at the gym. Variations of work out definitely helps with the bordem factor, although there is something pretty neat about going back to a routine 2 months later and killing it! Go you! Sprint Camp ready....

@AliS-- thanks! Yes, it is great to have something that you can get objectively good at. In orienteering there are so many factors that go into a good race... even if you HAVE made some improvements, it doesn't guarantee that you'll have a better race. So it's nice to be able to say, "I am better at box jumps now!" then to notice in a race, "hey, I can hop over this log with more gusto now!" even if I later make a navigational mistake.
No kiddin. Didn't remember the map, but I remember my flow that day, it was amazingly wonderful. Glad you got to have some magic there, too.
