My first worry with top of foot pain is always stess fracture, but apparently they are fairly rare. Kim basically lifted up the tendons on top of the foot and prodded each bone underneath, it's hard to tell if you do it on your own foot though, go and see a Physio to put your mind at ease (or to tell you to stop running if it is bone).
