When I hung 111 I made sure it was very clearly visible from the North and South. It was only when I went to pick it up in the dark after the event, and I approached it from the east, that I thought hmm, I hope it is behind that tree.....

I was not really looking when north or south just trying to make progress up the next hill. When I was on the ridge I looked along it towards the open knowing it had to be that way if I was on the right ridge. I was of course not sure I was on the right ridge so no sign of it I carried on to check the next one... Was quite glad to have 24 to relocate on ran back and of course Richard was in the area...
