I don't think I could make one, but I've never tried.

I can certainly kick a ball that far, but I don't know if I can do the form, especially with a ball that's rock hard.

I also think that I'd get my penalty kick blocked. A decent keeper would wait and then react and block.

(I can make FT's though!)

How many metres are there in 27 yards?

There aren't any metres, but 27 yards is the same distance as 24.7 meters.

My yard has cats in it.

From my calculations, the exchange rate from yards to metres is 1 yard = 0.915 metres. Has there ever been parity between the two?

I think the Euro meter used to be worth more yards, but it's declined recently. The Canadian meter, "a metereh", used to be more than a yard but now is somewhat less.

To confuse things even more: 1 yard (The International Yard) = 91.44 centimeters

Previously there were two variations - "The Imperial Yard" 91.438347 cm and "The American Yard" 91.440183 cm.

That's because Americans like to do everything bigger.
