I predict that buying the tickets will be the toughest part of your team trials. You're gonna crush it!

When and where are the team trials this year?

Gswede:
Thanks Ross! I'm feeling nervous about the competition this year, particularly you ;)

Sandy, this year it looks like they aren't going to be held with any event. From my understanding a separate, only team event will be held in the New York City area on the weekend of June 4th. I don't believe a location has been specified yet.

Well, that's a bummer about the date. I'm organizing a 6 hour rogaine at the Water Gap that weekend. I had planned to see if Erin wanted to organize some sort of training maybe using the rogaine controls (the rogaine is on the original 1:15,000 Water Gap maps and it would be easy to set some good long route choice practice legs) but I guess that won't be happening.

Damn, that is a shame. I love getting out on the Water Gap. At this point however I'm hoping they don't change the date. I'd rather not go through changing the tickets.

Ug, I have to buy tickets too. Are you flying into NYC? When are you arriving?

I'm flying into JFK on May 31st. I wanted to get a few days to adjust to the time change. Flights are really cheap out of Madrid. Maybe you should fly down here first :)

I'm also thinking about coming on the 31st to help with jetlag, but I don't know if I can ask for another day off - then it will be a week in total. We'll see what I can get!
