I'm glad someone sees through this flawed Dufty logic. He also seems to have the trouble understanding that for most people the person who is 1m in front is pushing the pace not the person 1m behind who is continually trying to catch up.
From what I've been told about cycle drafting, the person in front gets the benefit of the person behind pushing the wind onto you.
