Hi Eric, I'm friends with Matzah Ball and ran the Fleet Feet speedwork meet at Hixson last Aug so was familiar with your name from your 5:45 mile . . . pretty darn impressive, especially doing with no peak or taper.

MB says you used to bicycle race semi-pro, curious what team? I do Cat 4 USA Cycling races for The Hub out of Webster, so have an interest in cycling. bh

Well, every team I ever rode for fired me after one year, so there are a series of them. All domestic semi-pro. Craters/Cannondale, PowerBar, Exceed/Satory, Specialized. Only had a true pro license for that last one. It was a much different game back then, at least here in the US.

nice, I've heard of some of those . . . it takes a pretty high level to ride for even a year at the domestic pro level . . . must have been a great experience.

The AP crowd has heard my tale before, so I won't repeat it. Topic for a training ride, I suppose. In short, it left me penniless, jobless, and divorced. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
