While I do enjoy all of your company during our time in the congo I was hoping - despite your great track-setting and navigation lead - our three teams had different routes! Ah well. Fun times, you guys rocked it.

PS - We would have been happy to set the tracks but I didn't see Tarno make any effort to rotate off ;)

it's true Mark just kept at it and then I took over. dumb 'strategy'.

Looking at the splits it looks like we had a 6 minute lead on you from the matrix but its impressive how quickly you made that up.

Very impressive!! I thought you were planning a clock wise loop originally! :)

Yeah we totally were but we were concerned about the extra road run. So on the bus we tried to decide what to do so yelled back to Timato about what CP he was doing first. He said 225 (which was our plan as well). But then we thought it was just too darn risky and would see what people did. So we hung back a bit (aka I couldn't keep up at that pace) and decided to go the route that others took so we wouldn't have to break trail - but ended up doing that anyway.

Love this race. Only issue is that it is over before most of the winter takes place. More people need to do the Stars War.
