I love nerding out with the analysis stuff. Sounds like it was worthwhile, and it is nice he wasn't just about converting you to barefoot.
He calls regular shoes "coffins" but he accepts that some runners may choose to improve the strength and power of their feet while keeping their shoes on.
He might keel over when he sees 'Bent's Hokas though. ;)
I think I have about 5 pairs of those insoles currently. I just put them in all my shoes so I wouldn't have to keep switching... they're so cheap compared to every other insole/orthotic I ever tried.
