ice after runs. calf raises and ankle flexes. sub spinning a day or two if persists...if its any consolation i ran for years on a sore achilles, seems to finally be subsiding maybe thans to strengthening exercises
I have been icing after some runs from home, difficult on the train! It is not really sore, just stiff at this point, but it is affecting my stride. I'm sure I'm compensating, which is not good for the left side.
I do the calf raises on Easy run days. Had this problem in the past, and it is a nagging one, just overuse I guess, subsides with rest. but I am not exactly resting these days, but increasing mileage, so makes sense it comes back. well, I'll put it as a low level injury just to track it.
good to pay attention to warning signs, indeed.
