Looking at 24 E miles ... Main workout will be fb Race 4 ... the 4 M run that at M Pace as a Q Workout. Also need to take the weight down with IF eating after difficult weekend. That may be related to achilles stiffness ... don't want to let that blow up to af ullblowm injury
looks like I just need a little 3.2M recovery run tomorrow to get in my 24M for the week . . .
stiffness, hah, no sooner I thought it was gone, that my achilles stiffened up. well, it does not hurt, just stiff, so ice and heat. Got these new "Body Comfort" instant heat pads from Sams, turned out an assistant coach was working the table, just got the job so felt compelled to buy something from him, really nice guy, Tom Chenault, ran for WGHS, then also ran in college at Cornell College in Iowa. and came back to assistant coach XC last fall. well, maybe I will actually use it. supposed to instantly activate to 130F then maintain that temp for 30 min. it will be my new "spa treatment" warmup instead of the hot towells, haha.
