this was the Bradley workout? does he give you the workout, or turns you lose and you do your own thing?
Bradley had us do strides for the main workout since its awkward for most people to do longer intervals on that kind of indoor track. yes normally he gives us the workout - wouldn't be much point to just doing whatever we feel like, and its a relief to have somebody else make the decisions. Also, its speedwork, so at this point i feel that whatever it is, i can't go wrong. we have had some really good challenging workouts that i would probably not have discovered on my own.
I enjoyed the strides, even though they were 3 times the amount of the other day, I was surprised how quick i got thru them...
then I decided on my own to add the 200's at the end to translate the stride speed into a little longer distance. Felt great, eager to explore carryover to 800 and 1500 .
