if you read ahead both to future legs and anticipate what is coming up immediately (in 50 or 100m) then you will be able to run faster. on road sections, as soon as you know how far you are running and what you are looking for further along the leg then you can open it up. push and fight for seconds.

It's true! One of Thierry Georgiou's strategies is that I his mind, he is always 100m ahead in the course.
