Actually we come out really close given that we ran different loops.
1. I did "my
" loop 3 times, 2.87, 2.87, and 2.89. So 2.88 average, roughly.
2. My loop goes from the intersection of Virginia and Franklin directly to the jogging loop, takes about .04 to get there. Your
loop gets to the jogging loop by continuing on Virginia, .065 to get there. So a .025 difference, times two because it's done in both directions, so yours is .05 longer.
3. And you started your watch on the front porch, I waited until on the street, another .01.
Let's see, 2.88 (me) + .05 + .01 = 2.94, which just happens to be exactly what you got doing your slightly different version.
