bummmer. good luck w that. my achilles is 'permanently' sore, I dont even realize it until i accidentally touch it and its real tender. i do the one leggedcalf stretches, thats supposed to be good for it, but maybe should get back to the ice.
I do heel drops on easy days for the past year about, so that was supposed to help. I was out with achilles for 6 months one time. I'm hoping the solid base will help as I go to Phase 2, otherwise, I'm pretty much toast, because Achilles will not get better with speedwork. meanwhile, I'll keep up with the ice and heat alternating. that Body Comfort kit also came with some E-stim, but don't think that works on tendons.
oh yeah, speedwork. I would be ok until i did speedwork...well, hope you can circumnavigate it all.
