It is a bit unnerving, but I am getting used to having things frozen off at my annual visits. I generally protect myself reasonably well from the sun now, but the transgressions of my youth are being felt now.

You better check the thread for orienteering on golk courses. They are taking over the land back and giving it to orienteers.
And another problem with golk....skin cancer ....bummer

Well my doc hasn't done any freezing...or surgery. Yesterday he prescribed some antibiotic ointment to apply to a a crusty golf scab which I've been banging and reopening since last summer when I initially cut my shin on a branch while looking for my ball in some deadfall. Gotta go back to see him after it heals.

Glad we're seeing orienteers on golk courses. Maybe a few of them will get curious...and pick up a club. It is a natural progression from O.

Well, O could be a natural progression from golk, too. I always thought they were more or less the same sport, although for me O is much more fun. Same potential for character building through the frustration of not being as skilled as you would like to be.
