not sure what type of hamstring injury you have ( a tear or tendinitis). I have high hamstring tendinitis. The below article is a good one. The doc said to me it is common in runners and very stubborn. Do strength exercises every day ( glute min and med) hip, core and quads. I also am doing shockwave once a week. But I am still in pain!
