Darn - looks like i'll miss it by a few hours, I'll be on the road to LA. Are they broadcasting your relay?
Thats a pity!
Last year they caught at least the last 3 legs on the M60, so it's a possible!
Maybe there will be an archived replay somewhere, hope so.
Should be on Flotrack too
that's the big time!....awesome!....I have a ski race that day but might be able to catch it.....post the link here afterwards if you have one.....
flotrack has a paywall, I think. Quite expensive. I think they set up for coaches who can put it on their expense account.
Will look into posting a Youtube vid then!
Someone mentioned to me that for any kid into Track and Field in NYC, the ultimate dream is to compete at the Armory- I guess I am just a big kid :-)
yeah, kid in a candy store! enjoy!
LOL , get to rub shoulders with and warm up in the same place as elites like Lagat, and that's always special!
Sounds like a memory maker...enjoy it all....looking forward to the report and any video
what's the etiquette on autographs in the warmup area? I assume it's not cool to ask Bernard Lagat "can you sign my singlet Mr. Lagat" right in the middle of his warmup, haha!
You're probably right, however Chutzpah might prevail!
Lagat must be one of the friendliest runners there is.
Me or BP? I haven't but seen lots of video of him on and off the track.
either! but I was asking you mb . . . sounded like you had firsthand knowledge of his friendliness. if I were at a competition with an elite like that, don't think I would ask for an autograph. the memory would be enough, like, yeah, I warmed up with Bernard Lagat . . . :)
I hear you! BTW some other BIG names will be there:
And videos on USATF.tv
wow, the men's 3000 and mile are loaded. And I hear the 60+ 400m relay is pretty strong too...
And yeah I just scraped into the Mass Velocity team!
