When you return to Calgary in January, there is a very real risk that it could be -35 so I am counting +8 as super warm.

I think you blew some of that cold weather back here. It only got as high as 23C yesterday.

The previous day was upside down day, with it getting colder and colder from midnight through until 4:00pm and then it started heating up.
