yeah, I can't catch a break, it's not enough to injure myself during a run, I have to do it in my sleep! doh. well, it feels good today so I'll try a run tomorrow. maybe just needed some rest. glad I didn't try to up my mileage. I only have 13M running this week, JD calls for an L run tomorrow, so I would have to do an 11M E run to make 24 mpw, not sure that is wise, since he recommends max of 30% of weekly mileage for one run. so let's see what is the longest run I could do to make 30% of total mileage, given already ran 13M . . . hmm this requires some algebra methinks . . . calculating . . . well, let T = Total miles for the week, and X = miles for the L run, then we want

T = 13 + X
X = .30T
substituting . . .
T = 13 + .30T
.70T = 13
T = 18.57 total miles, then
X = 5.57

so I can do a 5.57M run tomorrow to not exceed 30% of total miles in one run. only get 18.5M for the week, well, guess that will have to do.

lots of coaches recommend a fall back week every 4th week. Of course you haven't done that much running, and very little intensity. At least you got up to 25, thats about rock bottom in my mind for launching into serious training. but what do i know, whatever keeps you going, and good to rest up before next phase!

maybe I'll do the 5.5M and if feel OK, do another 3M . . . Mon is rest day from running.
