yes, despise those! The elastic was so long I tied mine at each end to make sure they didn't come loose. Worked well. Alternate would be to just cut them in half and pin each piece to your shirt front and back.

Not sure I'd rather have no glide (you) or no kick (me).

There's no point in paper bibs. Either give out paper numbers and safety pins, or cloth bibs.

Hint: if you're charging $100 for a race and your base costs are ~0 (existing trails, no road crossings, etc), just pay for cloth bibs.

Any interest in ski-o Sunday in Wisc?

I have some dispensation to set up a ski-o trial at the expo on Sunday if there was interest, but we'd probably need MNOC onboard for that. I'll chat them up this weekend.

Great! A short mini-sprint works well to introduce the concept of reading a map while skiing. Can be a lot of fun.
