That's pretty funny. I had the opposite problem when I was watching a football game about a month ago, trying to maintain around 2:10 to 2:12. There was an exciting play, the runner breaking tackles, getting near the goal, and then I looked at my screen and I was in the mid 1:50s.

Well maybe I ought to move my TV down to the basement. I just listen to NPR on my Walkman. And on Sunday morning the programming is a little dry. And nothing to inspire a faster pace.

I don't listen to anything normally, just row, concentrate on the monitor. Maybe that's why the longer pieces are hard for me, but I generally prefer to just row when I am rowing.

Come on Chi, El Nino sucks and you used to know it.. you are very adaptive to your environment.

Now I would jam some kick ass music to row a good time if I were u.
save NPR for relaxing after your workout.

by the way classical ski tracks were excellent at Greenbush today, come on up in the next 3 days and lets ski!!!

and don't ever say anything positive about El Nino, its bad bad, bad

Use NPR for classical skiing

Hey if you can't beat 'em, then join 'em.

randy, who hasn't posted on a/p for several years, straightened me up this week.

Oh yeah that pretty cool. I though he posted more then that and I remember some thread about his ideas for O.
But typical republican that does not think there is global warming. 2000 years from now will be interesting. Once the nukes start its gonna be ugly. Really at the what point is the earth, animals and Abused populations going to last?

Yes randy has put in a lot of time over the years, trying to make O in the US a better sport. He has lots of ideas, and isn't afraid to express them. He and I have butted heads on Global Warming in a few threads years ago. I can't wait to see his opinion on the Executive Director program; successes and failures.

But interesting that you, matzah ball and I, with no kids and hence no 'investment' in the future, are reasonably environmental...want to pass on the World to future generations in reasonable shape. And the guys that DO have kids....not so much.

Soupbone:
We do have nefhews and nieces that will have kids etc.
If I had kids I would be teaching them the environmental model for their future.

But figures about people with kids, must be snowmobiles too

Well you can 'teach' them as much as you want. Ever notice kids often do not honor their parents' values? And they still might be like randy, and the majority of other Americans...."Burn, baby, burn!"

And the guys that DO have kids....not so much.

An interesting generalization. But perhaps that explains some of my failings. Just too many kids.
