Saw that it was the coolest February night at Perth Metro since the current site opened (1993), and the coolest at the airport since 1987.

I thought the years were getting hotter.

The first rule of global climate conspiracy: don't ask Blair hard questions.

It did felt unusual. Wanted to do the same run next Monday with my friend Helen but suspect we won't see it through as the weather forecast doesn't look as forgiving at this stage.

For a six day weather forecast you may as well just use what they tell you +/-15 degrees and add a 50% chance of rain.

LOL, yes I'm very much taking a wait and see approach. Regardless of forecast I know my chances of having reasonable conditions mid-late morning are not great at this time of year.

It surprised me that in Darwin if storms are predicted, they can just pop up at any time of day - because in Adelaide the forecast timing is usually fairly precise.

Jenny, my theory on that would be that Adelaide is closer to Blair than Darwin is. Try getting an accurate forecast for rain all the way over here in Perth!

Ah, but in Adelaide we just need to look at Perth's weather about 4 days ahead of ours to know what's going to happen...I was surprised that Stan's tail had already made it here from the Pilbara by 7am this morning though.

BTW, you guys do realise that Blair's not actually a forecaster, don't you? :)

That means he already knows more about the weather then they would.

(Also, the weather which Adelaide doesn't want, it gives to Melbourne.)
