dare i ask / suggest the 6hr you are setting - you seem to have done it all on your bike - is there possibility of having both a 6 hr rogaine and a mtb event using the same controls? either at the same time or 1 on sat other on sun?

Bryce - just collect the controls on your bike at the end

thats not as much fun as a race - what would be more interesting is if its balanced well enough that the extra distance to do it on mtb via tracks makes it comparable to straight line on foot and you say you can bring a bike if you want - #gameon for all.

Have a race to get the controls in with Ricky,. Don't say which ones you are going to collect, so you don't which ones Ricky has got and you race around and don't even know if you are in the right spot because the control has gone or maybe I am just not in the right spot!

Bryce, I strongly considered it (with a potential MTB event starting earlier than the foot event) given it's a MTBO map but the problem is we are already running a MTBO score event the same morning at Bibra Lake (which I'm also setting) so I figured people would do one or the other and not both on a bike. We are heavily promoting the Bibra Lake event through Bike Week so I don't want to draw numbers away from that by having another bike event the same day.

As to having it on the Sunday, well I'm giving up my entire Saturday to organise and set two events so I want a day for myself rather than waiting around for people to do two races - I still have to figure out control collection given we have limited camping options. Plus you'd still have to get off and walk to many of the existing controls.
