That's what I've heard but it is against my nature. Since my will can be weak in these matters I just went out and walked through the neighbourhood for about 90 minutes. 4C and a few snow flakes in the air, but there is a lot of grass showing where there was 30 inches of snow 2 weeks ago.
Well done! Your body gets stronger with training but only if it also gets recovery time, sleep, nutrition, etc. I am really enjoying a rest day - although I'm about to mess it up with some physio. But that is still relatively restful.
