If it is soft tissue, you may want to try standing and rolling the foot on a golf ball. I think it helped when I had plantar fascitis.
Thanks! I did that last night and also used a little ball with spikes on it, and it feels improved today, although not normal. I should do that daily. Maybe that can be my February Challenge.
Interesting. My right big toe has bothered me on and off for several months, and my left one just recently started hurting too. I've got one of those small knobby balls so I'll try doing some targeted rolling.
