more 200m on the menu, and some 400m thrown in for good measure. I didn't realize I only got 19M last week, when had planned on 24, so have to figure out how to up that a little. I suppose I should hold it around 20mpw for a couple more weeks since the new stressor is the Phase 2 R workouts, don't want to increase mileage at the same time. so I'm doing less miles but more intensity, which makes sense for my overall 1500m training goal. without any more races on the horizon, can probably get some longer E runs in to get mileage in the 24 range. really, the next races would be some 5K in May that I traditionally do, then the two main goal races in June. FF speedwork starts end of May at Moss Field on Wed, probably participate in that this year due to proxomity. try to fit that into the JD schedule.

so from Feb through May, it is just cranking out the JD program and staying healthy. work on strength and weight/ fat loss, which coincides with Lent perfectly. I'm totally motivated and know what I have to do, it's just executing it day after day after day. that is tough. just have to keep out of deprivation mode and into seeing the rewards on the track. it's fun to go fast and not hurt myself, that is the basic message to my brain. I might look at the next three months and see if there are group runs or minor races to keep me motivated.

man, not sure I want to do my R workout in 13F windchill with 20mph wind . . . unless I can get the wind to my back and push me along for the 200m. I think I have some 4x400m though, which would pretty much suck into the wind, the half lap into the wind. might be a "morning of" call . . . see how intrepid I feel.
