Depends how accurately they are mapped. Important that they align correctly from attack points that will be used. (for example road T that pointed slightly left of a point feature when it really should have pointed slightly right.)
Even accurately mapped, a meter-high object in dark green would be a bingo control...

I do, too. And in my opinion, probably about half of the time, the phrase 'bingo control' is used to deflect one's own navigational error onto the coursesetter.

yes, go around...dip in as quickly and carefully as possible, only when necessary, and then flee. Mike hits it on the head, you definitely want to choose a good AP. We do visit Sebald most years.....
Even after 30+ years of orienteering, I find thick vegetation very disorienting, and pretty much despise controls that require bashing through it for any distance. Dealing with that crap just isnt fun...
