Discussion: Finally!

We almost went up on Sat. morning too but couldn't get inspired to drive up after skiing there the last two weekends. I'm hoping they get a dump of snow this week!

Yes that would be nice! The conditions weren't great but on the plus side the slow snow allowed me to work on my downhill turns without fear of crashing. I'm sorry I didn't let you know I was going up there - it was a very impromptu decision based on how I felt Saturday morning but it was literally a quick(ish) up and back trip.

No worries, we decided to stay local and limit our driving to Sunday. We aren't that keen on driving to ski so even though it was the only way we *could* ski, we decided to take a weekend off and hope for better conditions next weekend. Another time!
