I used this map
in my calc III class to illustrate level sets = contours. I told them that I did not agree with your route choice from 6 to 7.

I remember falling down on my route. You can actually see the stop on the GPS track about half way along the route.
From the splits it looks like I lost some time on my route (though my worst leg was from the last control to the finish line). The splits also show that I had the same time on that leg as Yurets.
Yea, right looks better to me. My theory is that you went left to use the road but then realized there was a bunch of unnecessary climb, then bail back into the forest.
Comparing your splits to Yurets is a life milestone.
