Discussion: Stumped!

The control should have been on a logpile but I couldn't find the logpile anywhere on the ground any more :(

I found a single log but it was too far west, near the cliff. Explains though why you then weren't in a position to find the next control, if starting from an unknown point...

Basic rogaine technique, that - how to find the next control without knowing where you are, or where the previous control was, and then somehow find the control you were just looking for while bailing out. :)
