| Swampfox: | I think he's refering to the most unfortunate saga of the S Slash D Ranch of Texas, which did a texas sized (read: real, real big) issue of bonds denominated in Canadian dollars a few years back, while all their revenues are strictly in US currency. Tom Carr would tell you all about it, but it has become a matter of some considerable humiliation for the citizenry of the Lone Star state. They are now afraid that Vermont is going to swoop in and buy them up, and how would that look? |
