You had some monster splits (3,7,11,14); much faster than Aragorn or daedalus. It would be interesting to compare routes.

Tom, where would curious outsiders find those splits online?

I'll send you a results file, or wait until it is put on webpage. Did rob send you the course?

Thanks, you set an interesting course. Up to 200 m from 15, I felt like had at least a solid run happening. During the past weeks, one thing that has been improving has been my contact with the map so that, for example, when I come over the ridge, I have confidence that the control will absolutely be there. This may be helping me execute better route choices and keeping me in the circle looking more carefully rather than heading on a goose-chase. For forest runs, it is clear that the loss of focus when meeting people, as happened before 15, very frequently elicits whoppers from me. Maybe I should start assigning myself a 10s time out every time I am distracted. I could have done this nearly 100x on this course and not fared any worse.

Tom---if you email me the csv splits (by course) file (must have) and the purple pen export file (xml) with course data (not necessary), I can upload to attackpoint for you.
