I'm having "austere February" - no buying booze anywhere except pubs & restaurants. Lots of cheap supermarket trips! :)

If I'm giving something up, I find its much easier if there is no "something" around the house that I might come across. Chocolate, beer, bramble bashers etc.

Which sometimes leads to the dilemma:
Aaargh, I'm going beerless for the next month/week/day and there is a 6 pack in the fridge. Do I give it away or drink it all ?

And so it was with chocolate last weekend. Roughly a kilo.

Given up herbal tea though - its the devils work.

I gave up sugar. I lurch from one addiction to the next. Right now it's .... tea. English tea. Proper, builders, no nonsense tea.

Hoping for a beer later tho.

My advice: drink it all but don't buy any more. Austerity February! :)

I managed a dry January despite a cupboard full of beer. More of test of willpower!
