Thanks! Big question on conditions. Deck is hard and cold now with thin new snow on top. Expect rain tomorrow. Then Friday night they will groom down into the cold snow and mix it all up, hoping it will set for the race. Unfortunately, while good for the elite wave, the rest of us will see it churned and loose. Could be sugar snow or warm (30's) slush. Do I use soft skis for the sugar or stiff for the hard deck where it remains on the flats?

Ran on my soft Fischers, which handled well. If I had used the stiff Peltonens they would have buried themselves in the soft mush.
