Reminds me of Rhonda's ordeal. Her regimen involved scrubbing to debride the gunk that built up each day. Sometimes her friend Cindy was the debrider, sometimes I was. Rhonda got through it fortified with shots of tequila. Not sure I would recommend that strategy, but it seemed to work for her.

I think this is a new healing technique. No debriding or scrubbing the raw flesh. Just an acid soak. Which stings and is painful, but not as bad as that scrubbing I'm sure. Some kind of healing called 'granulation' occurs from the bottom up. So the idea is to allow that new tissue to form, and not damage or remove it. We'll see....

Right, healing from below. As I recall, the idea for Rhonda was to avoid allowing a scab to form.
