I do feel like my hams are slightly tighter when I bike but my knees started acting up and after 2 weeks of light biking they feel way better...of course its the same pattern of your normal aches versus a new one that distracts you so that your old aches 'disappear' only to immediately reappear when your new aches go away.

Good luck. I've seen those bikes with the huge tires at stores but I've never seen anyone riding them...I assume they go over bumps a lot smoother...

Yeah... it feels good to do something again. I was losing what little conditioning I had. I'd love a fat bike. But the decent ones are over $1000. They are surprisingly light. and they go through snow like you can't believe.

Well the fat bikes I saw were not $1k...they were Wallymart and Dick's Sporting goods...can't believe they go through snow!

My ham is tighter...I am thinking it might be the biking...started up due to left really helped...but I may back inflated my time and you get addicted to right now 6 hours is norm but not riding today...I am pooped out..
